Week Reflection

Week Reflection

CWW was a fun trip, but it was also a trip to discover things about yourself and the people around you. I learned that I was an outgoing person when I was with friends. This is a very strange realisation because most people, me included, thought that I as a very quiet person. This understanding came to me when me and my friends were being loud and rowdy in the water park. I learned a lot about myself this CWW.

Our homebase truly bonded in CWW. I feel like we absolutely bonded during the beach BBQ because we all gathered and made jokes while cooking our food, which resulted in us knowing much more about each other and our relationships. We even came up with some inside jokes, and you may have heard about some of them (So graceful like an albatross, etc.). Without a doubt, this CWW was the best to make new friends and relationships in my homebase and strengthen older relationships.

Sadly, CWW ended. However, when we got back, we finished the documentary video on happiness and how to be happy and successful. We had started this video before CWW, but never got a chance to finish it until after CWW. This documentary taught me many new things. It taught me that happiness comes in many forms, but that the most happy people are happy because of the simple things in life like surfing, farming, and hunting, and not money, cars, or status. I will make it my goal this year to become a happier person through experiences and simple things, not physical items.

  1. What a wonderful insight to your week! I'm happy that you enjoyed your CWW and really bonded with your friends. I'm also glad that even in the middle of all the rowdiness and the loudness, you have learned something about yourself. You really are growing up. The same goes for the documentary you are making. Even though you are out there doing things, you are still looking inwards and learning how you will grow inside and learn from your experiences. Have fun learning and growing!
