January Reflection

This January, our class has learned a lot. We are currently closing off our unit in nouns. One thing we learned about nouns is C-PAC: Common nouns, Proper nouns, Abstract nouns, and Common nouns. We also learned about poetry. Poetry can stand for Perspective, Opinion, Eye images, Title, Retell, and whY the author wrote this poem. POETRY obviously doesn't have to be in the order of POETRY. It can be any order you want. Use POETRY for poem reflections. Another thing we learned this month was that our read aloud, Wonder, by R.J. Palacio, is a life changer. It's about a boy named August who has a disfigured face and has been homeschooled for most of his life. Now, he faces fifth grade. There are so many powerful messages in this book that will change your life. If it doesn't, nothing will.
