Today's Headline: Mac Blogging

     This week our class threw blogs as the main subject (but not Mr Buxton). This year, all classes from 3rd grade and above are required to create their own blog.

     "I think that the blogs are very exciting," Tasha 'Ice' Moorjani says. "It's a great way to share our opinions of our school and class with the outside world."

     So far our class has two blog-posts: One for a report on Rules (our class read-aloud) by Cynthia Lord, and one for a Vocaroo, a website for voice recording.

Rules: Read Aloud

Rules, by Cynthia Lord, is about a girl called Catherine who has to cope with her little brother, David, who is autistic. To take care of David, Catherine makes rules for him like ‘No toys in the fish tank,’ and ‘Late doesn’t mean not coming.’ I think this book is very amusing because whenever David breaks a rule he freaks out. For instance, when David dropped a Barbie doll into the fish tank, he went up to Catherine and yelled, "No toys in the fish tank!"
